Judy Manages all functions of our 5 STAR center.

Judy is a native of Iowa and a 1980 graduate from Iowa State University. With a bachelor’s degree in Child Development, she and husband, Mark moved to Charlotte in 1981. They have a daughter, Jennifer.

Judy has been a preschool teacher, director, as well as a multi-site manager for large for-profit centers in the Charlotte metro area. At Central Piedmont Community college she has been an instructor in the Child Care Division as well as the Entrepreneur Department. With 26 years of experience, Judy joined Kilgo’s Center For Children in 2006.

Charles has shared his gift of Music with Kilgo for over 35 years.

Charles is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. Charles began playing organ while in High School. In 1967, he played organ for Wesley Heights United Methodist Church in Columbus, Georgia. Charles received his Bachelor of Music in Education Degree in 1972 from Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia. When his father retired from the military and relocated back to Charlotte, Charles also relocated. That same year, October 1973, Charles became the Organist at Kilgo. Charles owns his own business tuning and servicing pianos.

Lori is in our church office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Lori was raised in Thomasville, NC and has been a Charlotte resident since her marriage in 1995. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Graphic Arts & Imaging Technology and has over 15 years of administrative and graphics experience. With a minor in Art, she has a small business hand painting wooden gifts and furniture. Lori, her husband, and two daughters live in the Elizabeth area and are members of Hawthorne Lane UMC.
